WATERPROOF PAINT BASE CEMENT – POLYMER PROCOAT-CP102

DESCRIPTION

PROCOAT-CP102 waterproof paint is a two component polymer cement waterproof paint.

APPLICATION

Waterproof paint PROCOAT-CP102 is covered on mortar and concrete surfaces to form an elastic, adhesive layer that has high waterproofing ability. PROCOAT-CP102 is used in the following cases:

Waterproofing of water-closet

Waterproofing of basement

Waterproofing of roofs and walls

Create link layer

USER MANUAL

PROCOAT-CP102 waterproof paint set includes 2 components:

Component A: 10 liters of liquid  in plastic-can

Component B: 25 kg of powder in paper bag

Executing PLASCO waterproof paint according to the following procedure:

Surface preparation

Preparing the surface is a very important step that affect the adhesion ability, durability and  water-proof  ability of paint layer.

Use perforate to remove the rough and fragile surface

Clean the surface out of grease, sand, soil, mortar, cement, dirt …

Plaster the cement mortar (ratio 1: 2) to fill the deep-set and create flat surface

Before executing PROCOAT-CP102, moisten the surface with clean water and avoid stagnant water on the surface

Mix PLASCO paint

Ratio mixing between component A and component B:

1 liter of component A : 2.5 kg of component B

Pre-quantify liquid component A in a vessel, then quantify powder composition B and slowly add to the vessel and stir constantly to make a homogeneous paint. Use a low speed electric stirrer (about 600 rpm) or waved by hand. Stirring time is about 3-5 minutes.

To execute

Use a paint brush or roller to execute PROCOAT-CP102. The total layer thickness should reach 1-3mm. Therefore, waterproof paint PROCOAT-CP102 should be executed at least 2 layers to ensure waterproofing thickness and effectiveness. The second layer is applied perpendicular to the first layer. To execute 2nd coat after the first coat is dried. The second layer is executed in about 3-8 hours after executing the first layer depending on weather conditions.

PROCOAT-CP102 must be used within 1h30 minutes of mixing.

Using norm: 1.5-2.5 kg of PLASCO for executing 1m² of surface (depending on thickness coat)

PACKING, STORAGE

Component A: 10 liters of liquid  in plastic-can

Component B: 25 kg of powder in paper bag

Preserving in cool, dry place, covered.

Expiry date: 6 months from date of manufacture.
