WATERPROOFING, CONNECTING AGENT PRO-LATEX

DESCRIPTION

PRO-LATEX is water-proofing and conecting agent that mixed with mortar or cement paste to increase waterproof ability, adhesion. PRO-LATEX can be used to repairing surfaces.

APPLICATION RANGE

PRO-LATEX increases the quality of mortar or thin mortar plastering layer, floor mortar, concrete repair mortar, anti-corrosion mortar, etc.

SPECIFICATIONS

The following table shows some of the properties achieved of mortar with cement: 3: 1 ratio combined with a 10 liter Pro-Latex mixture: 50kg of cement

Color: White liquid

Density: 1.02 kg / liter

Solid content: ≥ 25%

Compressive strength: 30 – 35 N / mm2

Flexural strength: 3-6 N / mm2

Chemical resistance:

Adding PRO-LATEX to cement mortar reduces permeability as it reduces the penetration of chemicals, acids and water into concrete.

MIXED

It is recommended to use a powerful mixer or a low speed mixer with appropriate mixing. Only mix by handwork when the volume used is small.

Quantify cement, sand and aggregate (if required). Mix them together about 1 minute. Add PRO-LATEX and clean water. Continue mixing for about 3 minutes to make the homogeneous mixture.

USER MANUAL

All surfaces must be clean, free from dirt and sanded. Saturate the entire surface but do not allow water to stagnate.

EXECUTING

Using a trowel to plastering. The mortar using PRO-LATEX can be executed with a minimum thickness of 6mm and can be up to 40mm thick depending on the characteristics of the repair. If the thickness up to 40mm should be executed by hand or using trowel, the surface of the middle layer should be scratched.

Thickness: 6 mm – 40 mm

50 Kg of PC cement

150 kg of sand, sand size depends on the thickness of the mortar.

   Mortar – Mixing

Thickness: 10 mm – 40 mm

10 liters PRO-LATEX

6 liters of clean water

50 kg of P.C cement

150 kg of sand, grain size up to 6mm depending on the thickness of the mortar.

   Plaster – mix

Thickness of 6mm – 9mm

10 liters PRO-LATEX

6 liters of clean water

50 kg of P.C cement

150 kg of sand

   Mortar layer connecting old and new concrete

Mixing ratio:

1 liter PRO-LATEX + 1 liter water + 4 kg of cement = connecting paste.

Norm: that amount of connecting paste can cover about 3-4 m2.

MAINTENANCE

Moisturize the surface with a damp sack or mist spray.

COMPLETE

The final layer of connecting paste should be executed with a steel scrubbers, plastic or wood brush. Or use a damp sponge to get the desired surface. Once finished, do not cover it up.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

PRO-LATEX should be kept in a cool place away from sunlight and dew. Lowest shelf life is 6 months if unopened box
